MIRA NAIR

• Born in Rourkela on 15.10.1957. she went to the university of new Delhi to study sociology and interpretation. at the age of 19 getsa scholarship at Harvard university to study image and sound.

in 1979, conducts her first film entitled Jama Masjid street Joural,

from there come a series of works based on her native India, mixing custoiu, western Indian culture.
